如今，环境保护已经成为全球的焦点话题，受到全世界的关注。我国也一直重视并日益加强环境保护，同时对环境保护的宣传力度也日渐加大。在环保宣传的这个领域，当然也少不了动画片所应作的贡献。但遗憾的是，以环保为题材的动画片却一直比较缺乏，而相应的系列性质的动画片更是难觅踪迹。因而，以环保为题材的系列动画片成为近来动画制作呼声较高的一个趋势。我们及时抓住这个需求，计划制作这部以环保为中心题材的二维系列动画片《绮丽大陆》。本系列动画片将通过电脑动画技术向观众呈现一个美丽逼真的画面，描述一个少年无意中到达一个被污染侵袭的世界，为了找到回家的方法而与各种环境污染作战，在战斗的过程中，少年了解到污染对环境的破坏，获得如何对抗污染以及环境保护的知识，也通过这段经历获得成长，从一个有点顽劣的孩子变成一个成熟的少年，最后找到回家的路并且成为环境保护小卫士的故事，以此揭示环境保护的重要性。
